Glenelg, Adelaide, SA - muddy waters and where is that 'blue-line' of seagrass

Over 5,000ha of seagrass has been lost from the waters off the Adelaide coastline. The Adelaide Coastal Waters Study found that this seagrass loss has been due to discharges of nutrient and sediment rich waters from industry, waste water treatment plants and stormwater. The SA Environment Protection Authority (EPA) has worked with Adelaide's coastal community and key stakeholders to develop a way forward to improve water quality and create the conditions where the blue-line of seagrass can return closer to shore.
